REC'S & Reviews

If you know me, you know I'm nothing if not honest and opinionated.  When I started building my travel blog, I told my family I wanted this to be genuine and true documentation of my study abroad experience. The truth is; that not everything is glamorous! I hope that you find my honest reviews refreshing and insightful. But remember! Just because I feel one way doesn't mean you'll feel that way.

Whether you're looking for recommendations of things to do on your next European extravaganza or are just interested in hearing my thoughts and opinions, you've come to the right place. I'll review restaurants, experiences, activities, and more to do in the United Kingdom and beyond!

Costa is what is served around campus. It's a lot better than Starbucks, but not the best coffee I've ever had.

Better than Olive Garden and pretty inexpensive for what I ordered. Probably not as good as pasta in Italy.

Lots of cute shops and a variety of food choices. Sometimes they even have live music!

This is a Brazillian coffee shop, and the coffee is delicious. The flavored syrups are not good.

Trinity Church was built in the 1400s, and today has a cafe, holds services, and acts as a community center.

Beautiful art ranging from the 1500s - 1900s. Small, so it's quick to go through. Worth stopping by.

I ordered BBQ and I should have known better.  No seasoning. The German lemonade was amazing.

Good environment, the jokes that weren't about Scotland were funny, wine was a bit pricey.

Hot chocolate was good, the spice cake was good but the icing didn't pair well with it.

Bigger than the NC fair, but a little crowded. At least 5 pounds per ride and the food was just okay.
