Tips and Trick to Cheap Traveling

Planning a trip (solo or other) can be hard - it's easy to get lost in it all and end up having a massive bill. Here are three websites/apps that I use to plan my trips (solo or other) and keep costs low.

1. Skyscanner

Skyscanner finds you the cheapest flights on given days from given airports. If you're solo traveling and don't necessarily have a place in mind, you can enter a date and the airport you're leaving from and hit the "everywhere" option for the destination. It shows you cheap flights to, well, everywhere. This is how I got a $14 roundtrip flight to Copenhagen.

2. HostelWorld

Looking for a cheap place to stay? Hotels in popular cities can be pricey. Hostels are a cheap alternative and it's a great way to meet new people. I've made friends from around the world simply by staying in hostels! Make sure to read the reviews before you book, and know that price fluctuates depending on how many beds are in the room. If you're traveling with others, most hostels have private rooms you can book.

3. GetYourGuide

I book almost all of my activities through GetYourGuide. Sometimes, booking museum entrance tickets is actually cheaper here. I've never had a bad experience with anything on GetYourGuide, and it's a great way to see all the different things a city has to offer. The only thing I couldn't book through GetYourGuide was a tour of the Colosseum.

A great experience doesn't have to be expensive, you just need to know where to look. Hopefully, this helps you next time you're looking to book a trip! Happy travels!
